2027 Elevate enrolment information
Our ELEVATE program is designed for high-achieving students who are ready to embrace academic challenge and thrive in a stimulating learning environment. Entry into the program is based on an entrance exam followed by a student interview. We may also approach the source primary school for further information if required.
If you intend for your child to secure a Year 7 Elevate enrolment please complete the Elevate exam registration form via the link below by 4pm Friday 17th July. (Registration for the Elevate Testing does not constitute an offer of placement).
The ELEVATE Entrance Exam will be carried out carried out at Altona College on Saturday 1st August between 9.00am and 11.30am.
Testing will include assessments of literacy, numeracy and general comprehension. No special preparation, practice or study is required.
Families who have registered for the test will be sent further information about the venue on Friday 24th July.
If you have multiple children who wish to sit the exam, please complete separate forms for each child.

Our school zones
Please note that Altona College has two neighbourhood boundaries, one for primary and one for secondary. Students residing in the correct zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined upon proof of permanent residential address.

The Department provides guidance through the Enrolment Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.
